As a taxidermist, it is important for me to attend various state, national and world level conventions and competitions in order to see how my work measures up and to take advantage of the time to fellowship with fellow taxidermists and discuss new techniques and ways to improve upon my craft. If I leave a show with no awards but learn one new technique, then I am a winner in my book. With that being said, I have been blessed to learn a lot over the years and to win several awards, some of them include:
- Breakthrough Award for Judges Choice Best of Show
